Years ago, a close friend told me how he learned the subtle art of letting go. He said he would imagine a small river running swiftly, where he laid his body like a boat, afloat, without any other direction than the river’s course, like the most natural thing ever.
It stuck with me for all those years, and I decided to put it into a song. This was the original idea, the rest is just the natural flow of things.
