Quiet Life is a collection of songs that question the solitude, dreams and hopes found at the heart of a quiet life. It’s a strange thing to say, but I wanted the songs to sound small so that the simple feeling in them might appear bigger. Kind of distortion by comparison effect, like the moon over the horizon. Knowing that context inevitably changes our perception. I wanted it to feel personal, authentic and real.
